Opening the new OneDrive folder - /Users/USERNAME/Library/CloudStorage/OneDrive-Personal allows you to right click on a data folder, select "Always keep on this device" and click on the cloud icon to download. As others have noticed, opening the desired Time Machine folder from the Finder allows data recovery. Since all the data was moved to a new location, trying to open a OneDrive folder and using the "Enter Time Machine" function failed. My old OneDrive folder was included in a Time Machine backup. The new location, /Users/USERNAME/Library/CloudStorage/OneDrive-Personal, did not have data, but pointed to the cloud for the files on demand function. The OneDrive folder in my home directory was converted to an alias pointing to /Users/USERNAME/Library/CloudStorage/OneDrive-Personal My Desktop shortcut to OneDrive was also updated to point to /Users/USERNAME/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.OneDriveSyncClientSuite/OneDrive.noindex/OneDrive My local OneDrive data was migrated to - /Users/USERNAME/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.OneDriveSyncClientSuite/OneDrive.noindex/OneDrive Here's what I found, followed by a question:
Today the OneDrive app auto-updated to the new framework.
